For several weeks now we have been seeing and reading news about young Americans in the bonds of foreign prisons. Even though I have not ever known these young people, I spent a lot of time pondering what it would be like to be on foreign soil accused of murder - spying - looking into the face of possible death. As well as what it would be like to be the parent - grandparent - family member. My mind can not even wrap around it.
The thought of not knowing if you would ever find your way back into the arms of your family, or stand again on the soil of you America. Nothing moved fast for these young people. In fact
What would it be like to spend years trying to find your way back to American soil - the land of the Free.
Do you think these folks are slinging mud against all that we here in the United States of America stand for? Just complaining about everyday life in general?
Maybe it is time we take a minute and look through the eyes of these young folks and see what they see when they step their foot back onto their homeland.
